Job Description

Join Simpson Housing as a Maintenance Supervisor at The Lodge at Redmond Ridge, where you will lead a dedicated maintenance team in ensuring the property is well-maintained and residents are satisfied. With a focus on excellence and community, you will manage all maintenance operations, guaranteeing timely readiness of apartments and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of all maintenance operations at the community and providing leadership to the maintenance team
  • Ensure vacant apartment homes are ready to lease in a timely manner
  • Utilize troubleshooting and technical skills to resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water and security systems
  • Work closely with residents to handle general maintenance issues
  • Monitor the physical condition of the property and take appropriate action
  • Perform preventive maintenance on essential equipment

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experience at the supervisory level
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and general carpentry
  • HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training is required
  • CPO and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certifications are also required (may be obtained after hire)
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • At times, will be required to be on call
