Job Description
Join Sysco as a CDL Local Delivery Truck Driver and enjoy being home daily while delivering fresh produce. This role involves operating a box truck, handling freight, and ensuring efficient delivery to customers with a focus on safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
Run efficient daily routes with frequent stops
Load and unload products using hand trucks
Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain signatures
Handle customer complaints professionally
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred)
Ability to read and understand English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in handling money
Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
