Job Description & RequirementsRN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on the Orthopedic Surgical Trauma unit (#613) located on the 4th floor
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:5
• Work with equipment including chest tubes, traction devices, orthopedic equipment, IVs, oxygen, trachs, and drains
• Perform typical procedures such as line and drain management
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have chest tube management experience
• Trauma experience preferred
• May float to Medical Surgical units when needed
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must demonstrate flexibility and good time management skills
• Work alongside charge nurses, staff nurses, techs, and variable sitters
