As a BioLife Plasma Center Technician, you'll engage with donors, ensuring their safety and comfort while performing vital tasks within the plasma donation process. Your role is crucial in collecting high-quality plasma that contributes to life-saving medicines, all while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors
Screen new and repeat donors
Record donor vital signs and finger stick results
Use Donor Information System and prepare donor charts
Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
Identify operational opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs.
Fine motor coordination and depth perception
Experience in a customer or patient facing role
