Job Description

Join Sanofi as a Chromatography Principal Scientist, where you'll lead analytical method development to support transformative medicines. You'll collaborate with chemistry teams and utilize advanced techniques in a dynamic environment, making a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop specific and robust analytical methods using HPLC, UHPLC, GC, TLC, and potentiometry
  • Validate analytical methods when necessary
  • Analyze synthetic molecules mainly by HPLC/UHPLC, GC, potentiometry, and TLC
  • Perform quantification of impurities
  • Conduct mass balance studies
  • Design and implement analytical strategies for synthesis intermediates and raw materials
  • Develop effective collaborations within project teams and between analytical groups
  • Generate technical reports independently
  • Share knowledge of analytical method development for synthetic molecules
  • Introduce innovative analytical approaches

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Expertise in the operation of LC and GC
  • Familiarity with potentiometry titrator and TLC
  • Extensive experience in method development using HPLC/UPLC and GC
  • Experience in analytical method validation
  • Record of adhering to and promoting lab safety practices
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the separation principles of LC and GC
  • Deep expertise in chromatography method development and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of QbD concepts, specification setting, and cGMP
  • Experience in contributing to regulatory submission
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Consistent record of collaboration with scientists and stakeholders
  • Advanced scientific network in the industry and academia
  • Record of patents and publications
