Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating function and applying appropriate treatments
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education of students
Educates patients/families on home exercise programs and functional activities
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
