Job Title: RN ICU

Shift: Days/Nights 3x12-Hour (Both Are Available)
Travel Pay Rate: $2664 weekly ($30.5/hr on w2 + $1566/week stipend)

Position Summary:

• Primary assignment is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with occasional floating to the Emergency Department (ED), Med/Surg, or Pediatrics during low census.
• Provides nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Performs various responsible nursing procedures requiring professional judgment and independent decision-making.
• Follows guidelines such as doctors' orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies.
• Delivers inpatient care and support in a 5-bed ICU to patients of all ages and their families.
• Provides after-hours recovery care for post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and obstetric (OB) patients as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized care to critically ill or injured patients.
• Monitor and manage life-support systems such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV drips.
• Continuously assess patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
• Administer medications accurately, including IV infusions, sedatives, and emergency drugs.
• Participate in daily rounds and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Perform or assist in procedures such as intubation, code blues, or central line placement.
• Provide post-operative recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and obstetric patients during after-hours, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• A minimum of three years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
