Role Overview

The RN MDS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role plays a critical part in care planning, reimbursement accuracy, and quality improvement initiatives.

✅ Requirements

  • Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care or long-term care experience
  • Strong understanding of MDS 3.0, CAAs, and care planning
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Experience with infection control coordination is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete timely MDS assessments and submissions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
