A hospital with an outpatient clinic is seeking a GI for locum tenens coverage.

Rockport, Maine has many fun outdoor activities for your time off, whether you choose to venture out on the water for a scenic sailing cruise or simply relax in the park.

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with eight-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch, with no on-call or weekend requirements. Responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures in the OR, with the possibility of one clinic day per week, supported by anesthesia. Required procedures include lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy, as well as upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal banding, and diagnostic purposes. While a provider skilled in therapeutic procedures is preferred, general endoscopists will also be considered.
