Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor - Initial License Trainee, where you'll gain essential skills through classroom instruction, simulator training, and hands-on experience. This role involves overseeing nuclear power operations, implementing safety protocols, and working towards obtaining your NRC license to lead reactor control room operations.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct steps to stabilize the plant
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and findings
Oversee special projects from Operations Director/Managers
Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating Procedures
Review design and license changes for procedure impact
Review system documentation and provide operability reviews
Assist in developing refueling sequences
Direct operating shift personnel in plant duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Successfully passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Successfully complete a FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility, or 1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at military reactor, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience
