• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85037 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
• On Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990 - $2130

PCU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (AZ RN license)
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) – must be active
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• No Arizona home address on driver’s license
• Compliance with facility background check requirements
• Submission of completed resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and license verification (within 30 days)
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards
