Job Description
Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, providing evaluations and treatments to improve patients' speech and language functions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and play a vital role in patient education and care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Treats patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs.
Documents patient care in accordance with guidelines.
Supervises affiliated students and participates in continuing education.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Is eligible, or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Must have a valid drivers' license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
