Local Contract Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $65-67 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift - Variable: One is three 12 hour shifts from 0900-2130 and the other one is three 12 hrs shifts from 1000-2230. OT available.

Call: A pproximately 5x per 4 week schedule and would include 1-2 Saturdays per month.

• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 8 Staff RN, 1 PCA
  • Night Shift – 2 Staff RN On-call
• Patient Ratios – 2:1
• Type of equipment – Tele monitoring , Post Cardiac, Cath Devices, Ortho Devices
• EMR -EPIC
• Typical Procedures: Recovery of deep sedation, and management of post procedural devices.

Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of PACU RN experience in an acute hospital setting - AK RN License - BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - EPIC Experience - Travel Experience
