Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll evaluate and treat patients to improve or restore their speech and language functions. Engage in interdisciplinary education and support the clinical education of students while providing crucial therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients based on departmental standards.
Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Treat patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educate patients/families on home exercise programs.
Document in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Participate in interdisciplinary approach for in-servicing and community education.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Eligible for or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Valid drivers' license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
