Job Description
Join Jewett Orthopedic Institute Surgery Center as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, where you'll provide essential care to surgical patients, maintain sterile techniques, and support patients and their families through their surgical journey.
Key Responsibilities
Administer intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients
Maintain sterile technique
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in operating room nursing
Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
Active Florida Nursing License
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
