Join Cooper's Hawk as a Line Cook and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. You will prepare high-quality dishes while maintaining kitchen standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare assigned recipes to specification
Manage portion control and adhere to presentation specifications
Set up station according to established specifications
Use KDS system to manage cook times while multitasking
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen
Maintain kitchen equipment in 'like new' condition
Clean and maintain station using safety and sanitation skills
Maintain professional relationships and clear communications
Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Minimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment
Basic knowledge of professional cooking and knife skills
Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers, and Team Members
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays
