Job Description

Join Cooper's Hawk as a Line Cook and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. You will prepare high-quality dishes while maintaining kitchen standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare assigned recipes to specification
  • Manage portion control and adhere to presentation specifications
  • Set up station according to established specifications
  • Use KDS system to manage cook times while multitasking
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in 'like new' condition
  • Clean and maintain station using safety and sanitation skills
  • Maintain professional relationships and clear communications
  • Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment
  • Basic knowledge of professional cooking and knife skills
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers, and Team Members
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays
