Job Description
The Medical Director at The Jewish Board will lead mental health services at a Coordinated Community Behavioral Health Center, ensuring integrated care and supporting clinical teams. This role involves overseeing psychiatric best practices, training new providers, and providing direct client care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to clinicians and programs at the CCBHC
Lead clinical team meetings and assist with clinical consultations
Support psychiatric best practices and drive quality improvement processes
Supervise NPP Students and Psych providers at the CCBHC
Provide direct client services
Required Qualifications
Active New York State medical license and DEA
Specialty or considerable experience in Substance Use Treatment
Extensive experience providing psychiatric care
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty board certification in addiction psychiatry
Certification from the American Society of Addiction Medicine
Certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM)
Subspecialty board certification in Addiction Medicine from the American Osteopathic Association
