Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
  
  
• ARRT (M) certification required
  
  
• BLS certification required
  
  
• Active state license (must be in hand to submit)
  
  
• Experience with mammography biopsies highly preferred
  
  
• Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment and Epic EMR is a plus
  
  
• Community hospital experience preferred
  
  
• Locals within 50 miles are not accepted
  
  

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using advanced digital imaging equipment
  
  
• Support diagnostic day on Thursdays, with flexibility for extended hours as needed
  
  
• Operate Hologic mammography systems and utilize Changehealthcare PACS and Epic EMR
  
  
• Assist with mammography biopsies, fine needle aspirations, and stereotactic procedures
  
  
• Maintain radiation safety and quality assurance standards in a clinical healthcare setting
  
  
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure excellent patient care and operational efficiency
