Job Description

Join CareConnect as a Personal Care Assistant and provide essential support to patients in their homes. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through companionship, assistance with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general attention to patient's non-medical needs
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Promote mental alertness through engaging activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Assist patients with communication and errands
  • Remind patients to take medications
  • Observe and report changes in patient's condition

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of ninth education
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Satisfactory completion of mandated training
  • Bondable with background checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in home health care
  • Completion of CCHC's Competency Training Test
