Position Overview

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and reliable X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a per diem night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology and demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-Call: Yes
• Department: Radiology – Diagnostic (76300)

Compensation

• Regular Pay: $50.00/hour (8 hours)
• Overtime Pay: $75.00/hour (4 hours)
• Average Pay per Shift: $700.00

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Current ARRT certification (Radiography)
• Valid state license (as applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong technical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety standards
