Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Kearney, Nebraska 68845
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Telemetry Unit (21 beds)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with post-cath lab patients preferred
• Ability to float to Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) and ICU/PCU as needed

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a 21-bed acute care unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to MSU and ICU/PCU as required
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Work every other weekend as needed
