You'll work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology services to patients
Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care
Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments
Observe, record, and report changes in patient's condition
Provide instruction and training in alternative communication systems
Counsel and instruct patients, families, and healthcare staff
Maintain and submit required documentation
Participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning
Attend and conduct internal staff development programs
Required Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
Current and unrestricted license
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
