Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support and guidance to Sailors and Marines, conducting ceremonies and counseling individuals during significant moments. Join a diverse corps dedicated to uplifting service members and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies including weddings and funerals
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance to hospitalized personnel and their families
Train lay leaders for religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services and retreats
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a religious faith organization registered with the Department of Defense
