Job Description
Join Advanced Technology Services as a Planner/Scheduler and play a key role in optimizing maintenance operations in industrial environments. You will evaluate work requests, organize job scopes, and facilitate effective scheduling, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate non-emergency work requests and develop scope of work
Estimate labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment, and tools required for jobs
Gather relevant technical documentation and verify parts availability before scheduling
Maintain an organized work order backlog and ensure readiness
Conduct weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production
Create a Weekly Technician Schedule utilizing available technician labor hours
Improve work order planning and scheduling effectiveness
Maintain records and files for analysis and reporting
Train site employees on CMMS usage
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in a technical field
1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician
Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment
Electrical/mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with computers and maintenance systems including Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships
