Job Description

Join Advanced Technology Services as a Planner/Scheduler and play a key role in optimizing maintenance operations in industrial environments. You will evaluate work requests, organize job scopes, and facilitate effective scheduling, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate non-emergency work requests and develop scope of work
  • Estimate labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment, and tools required for jobs
  • Gather relevant technical documentation and verify parts availability before scheduling
  • Maintain an organized work order backlog and ensure readiness
  • Conduct weekly planning and scheduling meetings with Production
  • Create a Weekly Technician Schedule utilizing available technician labor hours
  • Improve work order planning and scheduling effectiveness
  • Maintain records and files for analysis and reporting
  • Train site employees on CMMS usage

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in a technical field
  • 1-3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or 5-10 years as a machine repair technician
  • Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment
  • Electrical/mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance systems including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships

  • Desire to develop leadership attributes
  • Experience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution
  • Project management and capital project experience
  • CMRP certification
  • Green Belt certification
  • STS certification
