Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare delicious, nourishing, and well-balanced meals to meet daily nutritional needs
  • Follow standardized recipes and prepare foods according to menu cycles
  • Cook and present appetizing meals in proper quantities and temperatures
  • Use food supplies and equipment efficiently to prevent waste
  • Prepare and maintain food alternatives for guest choices
  • Supervise culinary staff regarding food storage, preparation, and cleaning
  • Supervise culinary center’s employees in absence of chef or dietary manager

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience as a cook or dietary aide in an institutional food service setting preferred
