Job Description

Join Whole Foods Market as a Team Lead for Kitchen Equipment Maintenance, where you'll manage a dynamic maintenance team, ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced food production environment. Your leadership will help optimize operations and contribute to our mission of nourishing people and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with USDA and safety standards
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Manage maintenance budgets
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Build a positive work environment and manage team performance

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • 12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical documents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (CMRP, CPMM)
  • OSHA safety certification
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes
