Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech to join our dynamic team. As a Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the medical team in our Short Term Acute Care facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, work with a talented team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Required Skills
- Possess a valid X-ray/Radiologic Technologist license
- 1 year of experience in X-ray/Radiologic Technology, with a focus on portable and C-arm imaging
- Strong knowledge of radiology principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support certification (BLS) and/or advanced life support certification (ALS)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and radiology information systems (RIS)
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
- Certification in specialized areas, such as mammography or CT
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in X-ray/Radiologic Technology, with a focus on portable and C-arm imaging
Other Requirements
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any required certifications
- Willingness to float between units as needed
