Join MassMutual as a Strategic Business Consultant to guide business partners in leveraging data for informed decision-making. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to shape initiatives and ensure seamless execution while fostering a culture of data-driven insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison to the BIRA organization for Underwriting partners
Consult on strategic business priorities to identify valuable BIRA solutions
Facilitate collaboration across stakeholders and BIRA teams
Educate business partners in BI tools and data literacy concepts
Help define business needs into data questions and metrics
Identify overlapping business needs for efficiency
Serve as a change agent in data utilization
Stay informed about BIRA roadmap and initiatives
Maintain clear documentation of needs and decisions
Required Qualifications
5+ years' experience in business intelligence, internal consulting, relationship management, or strategy-focused role
3+ years of ability to think strategically and connect solutions to business outcomes
2+ years of experience delivering business updates to leadership
2+ years' experience supporting a large-scale enterprise initiative
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
Strong understanding of data and analytics in business operations
Exposure to business intelligence concepts such as KPIs and data governance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and attention to detail
Experience in supporting change management efforts
Adept at identifying themes and drawing insights from data
