Job Description
Zen Educate is seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to support students in SPED classrooms for the 2025–2026 school year. This role involves providing individualized support, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with educators to enhance student engagement and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plan (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff for consistent support
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
