Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on buses
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans
Collaborate with other mechanics
Follow all safety procedures during maintenance tasks
Required Qualifications
Mechanic class A or B certification
Ability to perform basic, routine, and preventative maintenance
Experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures
Ability to repair or replace malfunctioning components
Knowledge of safety rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
5 years’ commercial experience for Class A mechanic
1-year commercial experience for Class B mechanic
Experience with Cummins and Detroit engines
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Basic computer skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Experience in the transportation or Motor Coach Industry
