Job Description
Join Sanford Health's Cardiology Clinic as a Medical Assistant, where you'll provide compassionate patient care in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Collects subjective and objective health status data from the patient
Follows through on the patient’s plan of care under the direction of the provider
Communicates the provider’s written instructions for care to the patient
Participates in care for patients across the lifespan in all phases of preventative care
Obtains vital signs, prepares patients for examinations, and performs point of care testing
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program
Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a healthcare setting
