Key Responsibilities
Collect past due payments and negotiate payment plans with customers
Make inbound and outbound contact regarding past-due balances
Educate and negotiate with customers to influence them to make payments
Review account information and process payments
Assist customers with debt repayment plans
Monitor overdue accounts and ensure follow-up on loan repayment agreements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in collections, financial services, and/or phone-based sales, customer service or customer relations
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications
Contact center experience in the financial services industry
