Key Responsibilities
Effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment
Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of supplies and instrumentation for surgical cases
Serve as a patient safety advocate
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training and Successful completion of a sterile processing course or 1 year of healthcare experience
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 18 months of hire
Experience using personal computer and basic software programs
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of Sterile processing experience
