Now Hiring: Travel Palliative Care Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI
Important: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 54401
Schedule: 13 Weeks | 12 hour variable shifts -days and nights | Holiday rotation expected
Key responsibilities:
• Float to any inpatient unit and to other central region locations if needed
• Responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medication, establishing care plans and providing emotional support to patients and families
• Communicate with doctors, social workers, counselors, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and treatment plans
• Implement strategies for pain management and symptom relief to enhance the patient’s comfort and quality of life
• Patient ratio is 1:5
Qualifications:
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or Compact License
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Inpatient Palliative care or Hospice preferred
• Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience Required
• AHA BLS and ACLS Required
• Epic experience is required
