We are looking for a dedicated Software Engineer to join our innovative team in New Castle, Delaware. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions for cutting-edge thermal analysis and rheological instruments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
Research, design, and develop software applications, user interfaces, and data analysis tools for advanced scientific instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to implement and test software designs.
Write and maintain clear documentation in alignment with coding standards and quality guidelines.
Develop and execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality.
Provide accurate work estimates and track progress to support project planning.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve software quality, processes, and personal technical skills.
Contribute to the architecture of scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
Offer technical support and guidance to internal and external users as needed.
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or engineering discipline.
At least 5 years of experience with C# or .NET programming, with strong proficiency in applying technical standards.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
Demonstrated passion for software development with an eye for quality and design.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Android development, API development, and backend systems.
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, bug tracking, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
NET, C++, and other relevant programming languages or frameworks.
