ICU RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel ICU RN
• Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley, New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) – 10 beds
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 21, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Strong skills in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Experience with line insertion/maintenance, managing lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical and neurocritical care patients (ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVD)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill neuro, surgical, and trauma patients in the NCCU
• Float to SICU and other critical care units as needed
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and intracranial pressure data
• Manage ventilated patients and administer complex medication regimens
• Assist with and maintain central lines, arterial lines, and other invasive devices
• Care for patients undergoing neuro procedures, including stroke interventions, neurosurgery, and management of neurological disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
