As a Lead Charge Nurse, you will oversee clinical operations, ensuring quality patient care while managing and supporting nursing staff. You'll play a vital role in maintaining compliance with regulations and fostering a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily decisions for continuity of care and staff safety
Provide guidance and support to direct patient care staff
Participate in staffing decisions including hiring and disciplinary actions
Ensure compliance with company and facility policies and regulations
Conduct staff meetings to inform about changes in patient care needs
Assess patient care needs and distribute assignments
Monitor patient conditions and assist with dialysis treatments
Educate patients and families about End Stage Renal Disease and dialysis therapy
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
Registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
