Job Description
Lincoln Electric seeks a Designer/Drafter to support Plant Engineering through 3D modeling and 2D drafting. This role involves collaborating on design projects and enhancing manufacturing capabilities. Join a leader in welding solutions and enjoy competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with the creation and modification of 3D models and facility layout drawings
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create, modify, curate, and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM) using Autodesk Vault or Siemens TeamCenter
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
