Job Description

As a General Manager, you'll lead a store team to achieve high performance and customer service. You'll coach employees, oversee marketing efforts, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain store security, all while fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, lead, and develop store employees
  • Identify local marketing strategies and obtain referrals
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards and regulations
  • Audit loan/pawn agreements and transactions
  • Supervise and maintain office security and cash management
  • Examine and process loan/pawn applications
  • Participate in hiring and retention of new employees
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget and store needs
  • Handle complex customer situations
  • Monitor store appearance and address facilities needs

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail or related industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check required
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
