As a General Manager, you'll lead a store team to achieve high performance and customer service. You'll coach employees, oversee marketing efforts, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain store security, all while fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Coach, lead, and develop store employees
Identify local marketing strategies and obtain referrals
Enforce adherence to quality standards and regulations
Audit loan/pawn agreements and transactions
Supervise and maintain office security and cash management
Examine and process loan/pawn applications
Participate in hiring and retention of new employees
Develop work schedules in accordance with budget and store needs
Handle complex customer situations
Monitor store appearance and address facilities needs
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail or related industries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Must be at least 18 years of age
Background check required
Ability to meet physical demands of the position
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or higher
Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
Bilingual English/Spanish
