Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues in PACCAR diesel engines and Peterbilt/Kenworth chassis
Perform routine preventive maintenance services
Utilize troubleshooting trees/schematics to identify failures
Conduct comprehensive inspections to assess the condition of engines and recommend necessary repairs
Work closely with other team members and departments
Maintain detailed records
Stay up to date with the latest PACCAR diagnostic tools, software updates, and repair techniques
Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations
Other duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a diesel technician (preferably with PACCAR engines)
Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics and electronic systems
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment (preferably Davie4)
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training preferred
Must provide your own tools (all major air tools 3/4" will be provided)
