Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education
Conducts evaluations and establishes individualized goals
Administers therapies and educates patients and families on functional activities
Documents patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs like Word, Outlook, and Excel
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
