The Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine is seeking interested individuals to fill a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position will provide comprehensive primary care duties within the federally qualified health center located in Quincy, IL, and must be willing to practice and participate in the family medicine and obstetrical call rotation. Teaching opportunities will include working with medical students and family medicine residents through SIU School of Medicine and A.T. Still University. Qualified applicants must possess a MD or DO degree, must have graduated from an accredited residency training program at time of hire, be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine at time of hire, must be licensed in the State of Illinois at time of hire, have experience in providing services to multicultural populations, experience dealing with underrepresented minority populations and sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
