Key Responsibilities
Facilitate student-led discourse on historical topics
Guide students in understanding authors' claims and sourcing
Teach a curriculum prioritizing diverse histories
Build an inclusive and safe environment for student expression
Analyze student work samples and assessments with instructional coach
Differentiate instruction for all learners
Build positive relationships with students and families
Engage in practice-based professional development
Participate in weekly school-wide meetings
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback
Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools (1-2 years experience preferred)
Academic expertise in Education, History, Geography, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or the Humanities
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
