As an Army Orthopedic Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health of Soldiers by treating musculoskeletal injuries. Key Responsibilities
Treat Soldiers, retirees, and their families for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
Conduct both surgical and nonsurgical treatments
Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and participate in continued education
Conduct research in the field of Orthopedics
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
Completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
Preferred Qualifications
Permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates for foreign graduates
