Job Description

Join Quill, part of Staples, as a Sales Business Development Representative where you'll drive sales growth and manage key customer relationships. Leverage your skills to identify new opportunities and deliver tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales results for assigned accounts with large sales potential (~$8-10M+)
  • Acquire new business and grow sales while managing current customer base
  • Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
  • Build strategic growth plans and identify new opportunities
  • Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated and manage a healthy pipeline
  • Engage in various sales strategies including phone, social selling, and on-site visits

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Availability to travel (up to 4x per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience working with large complex accounts
  • Responsibility for a sales quota with a track record of exceeding it
  • Managed a complex deal from start to finish
  • Experience with business-to-business sales process
  • Responsibility to retain and grow accounts
