Join a trusted health system at BayCare in Green Bay, WI. This 167-bed Level II Trauma Center features a Level III NICU , Level III Maternity , and a Primary Stroke Center , providing comprehensive care for patients and families.

Position Highlights

• Location: 2845 Greenbrier Rd, Green Bay, WI
• Unit: NICU (18 beds)
• Trauma Level: II
• NICU Level: III
• Experience Required: 1–2 years (first-time travelers considered upon review)
• Charting/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis
• Scrub Color: Any
• Parking: Free
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required

Shifts Available

• 3 Night Shifts
• 1 Day Shift
• Hours may vary: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Patient Population

• Micropreemies
• No major surgeries
• Infections, respiratory distress, NAS
• Intubated and vented neonates
• CPAP, nitric oxide, chest tubes

Staffing Ratios

• RN: 1:1–3 (days & nights)
• CNA: 1:18

Certifications Required

• BLS
• NRP
• STABLE (preferred)

Skills Required

• Level III NICU experience
• Oxygen therapy, nitric oxide, CPAP
• Chest tube care
• Micropreemie care
• Experience with intubated/vented neonates

Unit Support

• Charge nurse (with patient assignment)
• Phlebotomy support for lab draws
• Neonatologist & NP on-site 24/7
• Bedside and nurses’ station telemetry (no tele tech)

Orientation

• General hospital orientation
• One unit-based shift to learn flow

Scheduling & Time Off

• Weekend rotation: Every other
• No call
• Time off: Up to 7 days approved
