Key Responsibilities
Leading MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
Performing System Safety Program tasks and analyses
Coordinating with customer safety representatives for safety approval
Working across integrated product teams to eliminate hazards or provide effective controls
Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
Minimum 5 years of relevant Systems Engineering or Safety Engineering experience
Experience with System Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Safety Engineering
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in command and control systems and/or weapon combat systems
Experience with DoD System Safety Programs
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
