Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical escalation contact for production
Troubleshoot automation software and hardware systems
Develop manufacturing tools and fixtures
Collaborate with automation teams on PLC, SCADA, and networking architectures
Understand and improve automation processes for upstream bioprocessing hardware
Enhance product quality and processes by addressing automation issues
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Systems Engineering, or related technical field
Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems
Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus)
Troubleshooting, analytical, and planning skills
Working knowledge of manufacturing principles and quality improvement techniques
Proven communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Bio-Science, Medical Device, or Pharma industries
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams
Familiarity with Upstream Bioprocessing equipment
Proficiency in using Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, DeltaV Explorer, or DeltaV Live
