Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
Conducts and modifies evaluations, establishing individualized goals.
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients/families on home exercise programs.
Documents patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Participates in interdepartmental communication about patient care.
Supervises affiliated students and attends continuing education courses.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
