Key Responsibilities
Examine cell samples to detect diseases
Differentiate between normal, reactive, infectious, and malignant changes
Collaborate with pathologists for diagnostic accuracy
Maintain documentation and reporting of cytological findings
Apply time management and prioritize tasks
Ensure quality control and assurance
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a Cytotechnologist
Valid license in compliance with state regulations
Proficiency in microscopic examination of cytology specimens
Preferred Qualifications
Active CT (ASCP) certification or equivalent
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Other certifications or licenses may be required
